To be traveling along as a young girl looking forward to being married, when all of a sudden, life is never going to be the same. Or…was she already experiencing fear at being married to a man much older than herself? Was she not party to the betrothal and here is one more thing that is being asked of her? In either case, her humility, obedience and submission to the will of G-d are exemplary and have earned her the title, “Blessed”.
