So good! Thanks Mike, the gospel will cost me everything eventually. I’m super excited to do no harm to my neighbour and to live in love. At the moment in Australia that won’t cost me my life. But sometimes it certainly costs me reputation, standing in the community of believers and wider etc. (shame about that.) This is another great call to follow the crucified Christ and not to rely on the myth of redemptive violence. A quick book recommendation “Crucifixion of the Warrior God” Greg Boyd. In reply to Michael Summers. That's more than ironic. It's also really annoying. Those danged ads are hard to keep up with. I try to delete the inappropriate ones whenever I see them. I've gotta try to pay for the webhosting, design and updates somehow though.

It was sadly ironic also that an ad for a concealed carry guide was beneath your article. On a more serious note, we are called to be ministers of reconciliation (2Cor. 5:21), not provocateurs to violence on behalf of the Lord.

How one can miss the irony in calling for Muslims to be less violent while advocating Christians to be more so is perplexing.
