Also, thanks. I never knew where the term Anabaptists came from. Interesting history. I was raised Episcopalian; there’s a rubric in the back of the 192? Book of Common Prayer that rails against the Anabaptists. I always wondered why, but was never curious enough to go look it up. Now I know, 50-odd years later.

Regarding Pentecostalism’s care for the poor and racial integration etc, can you point me to any books/articles that discuss why Pentecostalism has, at least in part, moved away from this towards a more “blessing theology” and even prosperity theology? What caused those shifts?
