With the large number of pastors and church folk coming forward with stories of how porn addiction has ruined their lives I dare say that your wrong!
The things that helps our addictions to the awful scourge of porn and other compulsive sexual behaviors, online or otherwise, are therapy, abstinence, and recovery groups/fellowships. Belief in Jesus is not a requirement for any of them.

Jesus can set anyone free
from porn
should show love and grace to the performers even though some
mock faith and Christ.
They are deceived by this darkened business.

Wow. Okay, that’s an interesting approach.

“State legislation pending in Rhode Island would force Internet service providers to block “sexual content” by default and charge a one-time fee of $20 to any Internet user who wants to view porn or other “offensive material” online. ISPs would have to hand the money they collect over to the state so it can “help fund the operations of the council on human trafficking.”
Taken from the article:
https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2018/03/20-porn-unblocking-fee-could-hit-internet-users-if-state-bill-becomes-law/?comments=1&vs=b

They mention that the state of Virginia failed to pass a similar law last month, so let’s see where this goes. But it’s a step in the right direction I’d say.

Pornographic law is much easier to enforce selectively to protect the rich and powerful from it, and to strike down political opponents with it. Gun control laws are a bit trickier, but I’m sure as soon as a loophole can be crafted to protect the criminals, it will be in with full force. Hope my cynical view is totally out of touch with reality and offers a laugh or two. best custom essay

Brave of you Aaron. I salute you mate! Yes, the ease of access and sheer volume of it is staggering.

There are great resources to help fight. The Facebook group ‘Fight The New Drug’ are totally secular and so helpful and encouraging. Join up, you won’t regret it. Personally, I was massively helped by Setting Captives Free. It is Christian, no apologies for that either. I’m really free now, after decades in that mire.

This is entirely down to the ease of access of explicit content without the fear of being “found-out” and/or spammed.

What you suggest will definitely work for me and, I’m willing to bet, many, many other people!!

– The normalisation of the objectification and commodification of women
– Contributing to sex trafficking
– The violence and harm done to women and girls who appear in porn
– Normalisation of paedophilia

Pornography is and promotes violence against women (for someone else’s profit). How about we go further and criminalise it’s use?

Exactly, and the evidence of harm is piling up like a New York garbage barge, and those in power are ignoring it as best they can. (thanks for speaking up Mike)

Do something for crying out loud Pollies! Don’t hide behind excuses like ‘prohibition won’t work.’ Heck, murder is prohibited but people still kill. This porn problem is exploding into perhaps the biggest public health crisis the world has seen and you are all asleep at the wheel!
