Greetings, I actually thought your write-up was poignant and considerably insightful. I am incidentally writing this comment immediately after having sat through the second season and first season back to back... The "Christian" symbolism is astounding and far more interwoven subconsciously than we permit ourselves to see.... One example that might help is the symbolism of the enemy being masked and unable to be distinguished and identified...it is the revelation of Christ that reveals the true enemy has never been visible (just like these masked men) cos he is in us.... There is no distinction between the lives of those playing the game and those wearing the masked uniforms....a metaphor for the inner and outer man... The pathway of all dystopian stories run a similar line because inevitably we want to see salvation and to do so we need a victor to overcome the enemy.... But only Jesus shows you that both are in you - light and dark - amd when you get this you get to be the Saviour by putting to death the ego (the false I AM)... Love and blessings

In reply to Seong Gi-hun. I agree. But it's interesting that an attack on capitalism is quasi-equivalent to an affirmation of the values on Jesus and of the Book of Revelation (correctly understood). Does it follow that the love of capitalism is the root of all evil?
