In the USA, Bill Clinton the US President in the 1990s passed this law into effect. The law is intended to protect children from traffickers.
What is the immigration laws of Australia? Like most of the planet, the majority of nations have merit based immigration. When the USA attempts to regulate immigration, suddenly we are the evil Godless pagans oppressing the masses.
Look, the USA is a nation not a charity, not a ministry. If you feel so strongly, instead of virtue signaling online, why not move to central or south America and try to change the conditions of these corrupt nations so that people wouldn’t want to flee constantly and try to enter the US illegally.
Also, Jesus when He walked the Earth, was present when the Roman empire had conquered many lands. The Roman citizen had more rights than others. Read the book of Acts and see how Paul used that to his advantage. What I find interesting is that Jesus didn’t lead His followers to pen manuscripts and post them all over describing the lack of justice on display by the oppressive Roman state. Why didn’t Jesus lead protests and call for change seeing the atrocities committed by Rome?
Mike, Jesus sure didn’t take a stand for social justice. Rome was standing many years after He left Earth. What is that about? Wonder if Jesus really has always been about SJWs…
