However, I’m not surprised, for the reasons you described.
Also, from my job, I know people don’t read signs, no matter how bold, colorful, & vicious you make them.
This had led to a better respect towards signs for myself. But even before then, I’ve always been more the type to enjoy the experience, but not leave my own mark on it.
I mean, graffiting an ancient, famous rock! I hope they got in trouble for doing that
