Haha. Yeah. Point is, I could look at him and tell something was wrong with him. Wouldn’t have to wait until I realized he was racist. And I know the article wasn’t about how bad the guy was. I understood your article. I just find humor in places others don’t. That’s ok isn’t it?? I promise I’m not racist. Actually I don’t believe there are different races. Just one. It’s the human one. You know. The human race.

He was a racist. He had on an horrendous outfit. He actually paid money for his haircut. He had a job at a church. He even wasted money and time to get a certificate from a Christian school. He was an idiot so I left him alone after sharing Jesus with him.

Racial hatred is not a white problem, its a human one. I’m sure there are some African pastors who hate white people. Which is exactly equivalent problem in God’s eyes.

Yes, there are degrees of visibility. Even the pastor you mentioned is more visible than most white supremacy, which is not simply a set of beliefs, but a system of privilege and oppression shaping all our lives, even if we explicitly repudiate the ideas that seek to justify it.

Put another way, fighting white supremacy doesn’t simply mean rejecting explicit articulations of prejudice against other races (though it includes that). It will also include seeking to dismantle and replace the economic, political, spiritual, cultural and psychological constructs that treat whiteness as superior.
